We are looking forward to a very engaging, and informative weekend, as the South Florida Chapter of N’COBRA has been actively involved in a number of issues that are important to our quest for Reparations including the plight of the homeless; the rights of ex-felons; the Katrina Survivors' demand for justice; and the ongoing human rights struggles of Haitian immigrants.
Also, you will have an opportunity to get up close and personal with the Green Party Presidential Candidate, one of the Jena Six Mothers and the current National President of the PG-RNA.
There will be in-depth discussions about the first Judiciary Committee hearing on The Legacy of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, which took place on December 18, 2007; updates on other important work that continues to move us closer to our goal of achieving Reparations; and as always opportunities for you to be active participants in the Coalition's decision-making processes. Certainly it won't hurt being in the land of Palm Trees, and Sunny Weather; and having easy access to the Ocean. We hope to see you there...
